"Mbok Berek" Fried Chicken/indonesian traditional cuisine,java


"Mbok Berek" fried chicken
(ayam goreng mbok berek 1)


package recipe yohana wu Portland (Oregon).

For: 6 people

Ingredient:
1 chicken fat and young
8 onions
3 garlic cloves
1 sort of ginger thumb
4 sheets of "salam" leaf
Salt sufficient
Coconut milk
Oil for fry

Manner makes it:
1. Chicken after cleaned to splitted two. Put at frying pan, spice with flavors (2 onion kinds and salt) that threshed soft.
2. Sort of ginger is striken until broken. "salam" is let intact. Pour coconut milk, enclosing the frying pan, boil with big fire. if boil the fire has been lessened.
3.Boil until soft the chicken.
4.Then fried with oil sweltry.
